fucking. HATE this word. absolutely despise it. worst word to ever disgrace toki pona.

just use insa. literally almost all situations where you would use meso you can just use insa. because meso has the EXACT same semantic space as insa, but much more specific for some god-forsaken reason. insa can be used metaphorically. you can describe the insa between two things. meso does not do anything that insa can't do, it is literally just insa but worse.

and if for some reason you can't/don't want to use insa, you can just use lili, or ala, or just DESCRIBE how you feel. toki pu is already very versatile, it is perfectly capable of expressing complex opinions. meso does not add anything to this ability, it just takes ability away from already existing words.

meso is a threat to society and it needs to be permanently removed from everyone's vocabularies. if you ever consider unironically using meso, please stop yourself. just don't. use insa instead.
